Time Redeemed
The transformation of history...occurs in moments of immediacy. It blasts particular moments of the present and past out of the linear sequence and presumably the order of fate. -Walter Benjamin

I used to take night shots with Kodachrome slide film.  The colors you would get from the long exposure were always a surprise for me, they were dense in color and mysterious in shape. These photo's are a modern digital take on a long exposure night shot.  All  of these photos were shot in the NYC subway tunnels.

While on a residency at MASS MoCA in North Adams, MA in September of 2016 I explored an abandoned marble quarry and it's tributary.  These are photomontages of that trip.
