hiding beneath suburban approaches
2017
ink, watercolor, gouache on hand molded paper
30"x22"
Hiding beneath suburban approaches she closed her curtains against the tumbling outside and set to work on the past. Finding me gone, a distasteful shadow twitched across her lips and in the warm space of time she began to Windex my fingerprints from the door frame and sand my penciled and penned years away. Soon, she had returned her home to zero, her forever valiant variable and peeking from her curtained window, she now no longer felt the tumbling outside.
